Apply Lapage 2 in 1 sealant on the side and bottom corner of the drywall and after applying sealant, gently press it with your index finger and drag your index finger down so that you will get the smooth finish over there.

Step 9. Apply Waterproofing

Pour the RedGard waterproofing into a clean paint tray and load the roller.

Apply loaded roller onto the drywall and roll the Redgard waterproofing material onto the drywall. Use the paintbrush for areas that are unreachable with the roller.

Apply a good coat of Redgard to all the corners. Now apply a 6-inch wide fiberglass mesh into the wet RedGard to all the corners of the drywall and then again cover with subsequent coats as normal.

And let them dry, when it is dried completely then this Redgard turns pink to dark red color so you came to know that the Redgard is completely dried. Typically it takes 60 to 90 minutes but it also depends on the ambient conditions.
